New features

  • Introducing the new TEMPLATE FRAGMENT component—a placeholder for the template fragment token within your email. This component allows you to seamlessly reuse pre-approved content without altering the entire email. The template fragment token ensures full compatibility with Veeva Vault PromoMats, guaranteeing accurate rendering across different email clients.

  • Export your e-Detailers as interactive PDF files directly from eWizard. This new feature allows you to generate iPDF documents that preserve the original interactivity and transitions from your source e-Detailer. The result ensures a seamless experience whether you're reviewing content in Veeva Vault PromoMats or presenting it to stakeholders. BETA Configuration required

Improvements

  • The advanced search in the Assets popup and on the MODULES tab allows you to locate content modules from Veeva Vault PromoMats based on a full match with metadata from linked assets. The search configuration specifies which fields should be considered during the content module search. Configuration required

  • Implemented the linkage of the source content module and source text assets in Veeva Vault PromoMats to the copied module published as interactive. Configuration required

  • With the new element type approach for module text assets, your changes of text assets and their element types are created as updates to the already existing module text assets after their republishing to Veeva Vault PromoMats. The original element types of text assets, separately from the module, retain their element types without changes. Configuration required

  • In terms of ModCon 2.0, the current release introduces significant performance optimizations for bulk module publishing, enhancing speed and efficiency. Additionally, these improvements affect the general module publishing as interactive.

Admin setup

  • Add the search key with a configurable fields array for the advanced content module search according to specific asset metadata. Available in the Editor administration panel → Digital assets section → VEEVA VAULT tab.

  • To set up the linkage of the source content module and source text assets in Veeva Vault PromoMats to the copied module, add the parentDocumentLinking parameter in the USER MANAGEMENTPUBLISH MANAGERPublishVeeva Vault settings section.

  • Add the text_element_type_v string to the vault array in the Claim and Text keys to pull text element types instead of reusable text element types from Veeva Vault PromoMats in the Assets popup. Available in the USER MANAGEMENTPermission setsUP EDITORDigital Assets popup section.

  • To allow e-Detailer export as interactive PDF files launched from different locations, turn on the Export as iPDF permission:

    • in the USER MANAGEMENTPermission setsSystemUP CONTENT section—for the eWizard platform.

    • in the USER MANAGEMENTPermission setsSystemNAVIGATE section—for NaviGate.
