• Publication of images with edited text

  When a content item containing images with edited text is published to Veeva Vault as PDF for approval, original VVPM assets are automatically linked in the Created From section on the Relationships tab of the resulting image documents in Veeva Vault. This linkage improves transparency and simplifies content tracking. Configuration required

Improvements

• In the image text editor, custom fonts from content item templates are now available in the font family dropdown. This removes the need to upload fonts manually and enables on-the-fly text customization.

Admin setup

To set up publication of images with edited texts and automatically link them with the original VVPM assets, add the following objects to the moduleAssetsFields object in USER MANAGEMENT → PUBLISH MANAGER → Publish → Veeva Vault as PDF for approval → Veeva Vault settings:

• assetFields—to configure metadata fields on the ASSETS publication step and define the source of prepopulated values: the content item being published or the original VVPM asset.

• createdFromLinking—to automatically link the original VVPM asset to the image asset with edited text.
