New features ​

  • Introducing the eWizard REST API, a new feature designed to provide seamless interoperability between eWizard and your existing systems that aren't yet integrated with the platform.

    With this REST API, you can programmatically access eWizard data and functionality to automate and streamline operations across your digital environment. The API features secure JWT token authentication and extensive endpoint coverage to manage content, users, and more.

  • Within the approval process of rep-triggered emails in eWizard, you can now link the approved Veeva PDF document to Veeva Vault fragments. This selected PDF now takes priority over historical publication data for auto-linking, ensuring that the most relevant document is associated with each fragment. These links are retained within the email and displayed on the Relationships tab of the Veeva interactive documents, enhancing traceability and simplifying cross-system content management. Improvements ​

  • Editor enhancements for portfolio e-Detailers:

    • STRUCTURE mode. Create new nested e-Detailers or add existing ones from your Library using the + ADD E-DETAILER button on the quick access toolbar.

    • Download source options. Use the Download source → Portfolio e-Detailer/Nested e-Detailer options from the more menu to download the source ZIP archive of the entire portfolio e-Detailer or the currently open nested e-Detailer.

  • Details page updates for portfolio e-Detailers:

    • Version management. Roll back to any content item version with the Promote option under the VERSIONS tab.

    • Nested e-Detailer actions. Open nested e-Detailers in Viewer or download their source ZIP archives from the E-DETAILERS tab.

  • In the Campaign planning widget, you can now make copies of campaigns, including their content items, dependencies, attached files, and links. This new feature allows you to duplicate a specific campaign for reuse or create a similar campaign. Configuration required

Admin setup ​

  • To allow the linkage of approved Veeva PDF documents with Veeva Vault fragments during the approval process for the rep-triggered emails in eWizard:

    • Configure the relationType parameter and customize the override object within the approved_document_pdf object in USER MANAGEMENT → PUBLISH MANAGER → Publish → Veeva Vault interactive → Veeva Vault settings.

    • Modify the email-fragment object to customize the linkage of approved Veeva PDF documents to Library and Veeva Vault fragments in the USER MANAGEMENT → SYSTEM → Content approval settings → Veeva Vault section.

  • To manage how Editor handles URL and UTM parameters, select or clear the Skip in Editor checkbox in USER MANAGEMENT → SYSTEM → Digital assets → Admin UP → URL parameters and UTM parameters. The availability of the Skip in Editor checkbox depends on the state of the Add to links automatically checkbox.

  • To set up campaigns copying in Planner:

    • Configure the campaigns object within the copyFlow object to customize metadata inheritance and editing in the Make a copy popup, the default state of the Include content from all tabs checkbox, and the copying of ZIP archives with InDesign packages.

    • Adjust the dynamic_values object to show/hide the link to the original campaign on the Details page of the copied campaign.
