New features

  • Cross-channel popup component

eWizard now supports the cross-channel popup component and its reuse in grid-based templates. With this universal component, you can design complex, multi-slice content with embedded popup that automatically adapts to the target content item behavior. Template update required

Bulk publication has been enhanced to support creating new content modules containing container components such as popups.

  • Swipe behavior customization

In e-Detailers, e-Detailer briefs, and portfolio e-Detailers, you can customize swipe behavior for tables and computer touchpads within the new SWIPE section on the Settings tab in eWizard Editor. Configure swipe sensitivity, swipe direction for nested e-Detailers, chapters, slides, and subslides, and the number of fingers required. You can test swipe behavior in the Editor PREVIEW mode and in Viewer. Configuration required

Improvements

  • You can now add links and assign the link-opening action to banner components in eWizard Editor.

  • The Tree tab is now available for modules. In the grid-based templates, this makes it easier to place components in the correct grid areas, ensuring proper placement across channels.

  • You can now launch MLR Acceleration without signing in to your VVPM account. It's available in Library, Viewer, and Editor when your validation rules don't require a connection to Veeva Vault DAM. This streamlines the workflow and makes MLR Acceleration responsive to the rules you use. Configuration required

  • When you click CHECK STATUS on a content item whose VVPM interactive document is in the Expired status, approval now requires republishing the content item—external light presentation or the source e-Detailer, portfolio e-Detailer, email, or email fragment. You can approve expired external complex presentations with the View to approve option in the more menu. Configuration required

Admin setup

  • To manage SWIPE section on the Settings tab in Editor, turn on/off the Configure slide swipe sensitivity permission in the USER MANAGEMENTPermission setsUP EDITORContent section. Available also in the Application rolesUP EDITORContent section.

  • To launch MLR Acceleration without signing in to the VVPM account, add the isNeedDamAuthorization parameter with the false value in the environment configuration file → mlrAccelerationvalidations object.

  • To activate the approval process for VVPM interactive documents in the Expired status within eWizard through republishing the source content item, add the checkStatusGuardEnabled parameter with the true value to the recreateDocumentsOnStatuses object in the USER MANAGEMENTSYSTEMContent approval settingsVeeva Vault section.
