New features

• Enhanced banner content creation with structured blocks and content modules from Veeva Vault PromoMats, ensuring greater efficiency and consistency across channels. Configuration requiredTemplate update required

  Built-in business rule validation now automatically checks content modules for compliance with Veeva Vault PromoMats standards, reducing manual effort and errors.

  To support faster MLR review, the Highlight modules feature marks modified content modules during content item publication to Veeva Vault PromoMats or when exporting to PDF.

Improvements

• Within the eWizard—Bynder integration, you can now convert PPT/PPTX files from Bynder to save them as e-Detailers in eWizard. The resulting e-Detailer inherits metadata from the source file.

• In eWizard, you can now convert PPT files into e-Detailers. To retain original media, text, and animation in the resulting e-Detailer, comply with the PPT requirements.

Admin setup

• Configure the following set of permissions and settings for banners:

  • The View Blocks tab and View Modules tab permissions to manage the visibility and availability of options for the Blocks and MODULES tabs in Editor. Turn on/off permissions in USER MANAGEMENT → Permission sets → UP EDITOR → Blocks.

  • The Preview highlight permission to configure the highlight of content module changes in the Editor PREVIEW mode. Turn on/off the permission in USER MANAGEMENT → Permission sets → UP EDITOR → Editor.

  • The View "Module combinations" tab permission to show the Module combinations tab and apply all available options. Turn on/off the permission in USER MANAGEMENT → Permission sets → UP EDITOR → Content.

  • To activate the module highlight functionality for banners during their export as PDF, configure the highlightComponents object on the VEEVA VAULT and NAVIGATE tabs in USER MANAGEMENT → SYSTEM → Digital Assets → Admin UP → Highlight settings.

  • To activate the module highlight functionality for banners during their publication as PDF, configure the highlightComponents object in the USER MANAGEMENT → PUBLISH MANAGER → Publish → Veeva Vault settings.

• To set up the conversion of Bynder PPT/PPTX documents into e-Detailers in eWizard, configure the document-ppt and document-pptx objects in the USER MANAGEMENT → SYSTEM → Edit in eWizard → Bynder section.
