• Image text editing

  In eWizard Editor, you can now modify, format, and automatically translate text on images. This update streamlines market-specific image preparation, removing the need to involve creative agencies for minor edits and keeping text consistent across all content items. Configuration required

Improvements

• Commenting in eWizard Viewer and Planner has been upgraded to support full collaboration. You can now tag other users directly in comments. Tagged users automatically receive notifications with links to the commented content item, ensuring the right people stay informed and engaged. A link provides access to the latest content version without the need for continuous syncing, which improves consistency and reduces manual effort. Configuration required

• The Veeva Vault Submission Date token is now available in the eWizard tokens list. When a content item is published to Veeva Vault PromoMats—as PDF for approval or interactive—or to SFMC, the token is automatically replaced with the matching value. Automatic inclusion of the submission date in all distributed content reduces manual work, prevents errors, and supports regulatory compliance. Configuration required

Admin setup

• To set up image text editing and configure its WYSIWYG editor:

  • Turn on/off the Edit image text permission in the USER MANAGEMENT → Permission sets → UP EDITOR → Content section. Available also in the Application roles → UP EDITOR → Content section.

  • Turn on/off the View Text color button, View Background/Highlight color button, View Font family dropdown, View Font size field, View Font weight dropdown, View Underline button, View Strikethrough button, View Subscript button, View Superscript button, View Align left button, View Align center button, View Align right button, View Justify button, View Bold button, View Italic button, View Clear formatting button, View Line height input, View Format painter button, View Upload font option, View Auto translate button, and View Add text button permissions in the USER MANAGEMENT → Permission sets → SERVICES → newly added Image text editor section.

• To configure the user tagging for commenting, turn on/off the Mentions in comments permission in USER MANAGEMENT →Permission sets → SERVICES → Comment service.

• To configure replacement of the eWizard Veeva Vault Submission Date token, add the submission_date__c object in the following settings:

  • For Veeva Vault as PDF for approval or interactive publications, in USER MANAGEMENT → PUBLISH MANAGER → Publish → Veeva Vault as PDF for approval/Veeva Vault interactive → Veeva Vault settings. Available for e-Detailers, portfolio e-Detailers, e-Detailer briefs, emails, email fragments, and email briefs.

  • For SFMC publications, in USER MANAGEMENT → PUBLISH MANAGER → Publish → SFMC → SFMC settings. Available for emails and email fragments.
