Improvements

• Now, you can manage image capture for blocks, placeholders, or components to prevent rendering issues in emails, email briefs, and email fragments across all email clients. Use the following checkboxes in the EMAIL CLIENT COMPATIBILITY section of the Styling tab:

  • Desktop view image—captures the same image for desktop, tablet, and mobile versions of the content item.

  • Mobile view image—captures an image for the mobile version.

  You can also specify common alternative text for both desktop and mobile view images. Configuration required

Admin setup

• To control the visibility of the checkboxes in the EMAIL CLIENT COMPATIBILITY section of the Styling tab for emails, email briefs, and email fragments, turn on/off the following permissions in the USER MANAGEMENT → Permission sets → UP EDITOR → Components, Blocks, and Placeholders sections:

  • View "Mobile view image" checkbox—newly added.

  • View "Desktop view image" checkbox—renamed from View "Lock for email display" checkbox.
